About Marnie

Hudson Valley native Marnie McKnight-Favell practices Classical Homeopathy and energetic bodywork, specializing in Integrated Energy Therapy^®. She has a BA in Business Management from Hartwick College, and has completed her studies at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy and the Professional Program at Teleosis School of Homeopathy. She currently attends the clinical program at Maya School of Homeopathy in New York City, and is also serving as the school’s Administrative Coordinator. A 500-hour nationally certified yoga teacher, Marnie teaches fundamentals level yoga classes, prenatal and baby yoga classes at the Yoga Way studio in Wappingers Falls, NY.

Marnie is an Integrated Energy Therapy^® Master Instructor, and offers IET classes in addition to private sessions. Classes are offered at the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, as well as an IET for Pets class. She studied IET with Dona Ho Lightsey, owner of Violet Alchemy, and received her Master-Instructor training from Stevan J. Thayer, the founder of Integrated Energy Therapy and director of the Center of Being. Marnie is also trained in pendulum healing and is a Reiki level II practicioner, as well as an initiate and priestess in the Order of Magdalen. Marnie is a member of the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH) the Flower Essence Society (FES), and Yoga Alliance.

Marnie offers a variety of methods, including relaxation techniques, conscious breathing, flower essences, pendulum dowsing, and sound techniques, in her sessions with clients. Marnie brings compassionate, heart-centered energy and guidance to her clients to help them find greater peace and balance in their everyday lives. She is a lover of music, and plays flute, guitar, hand drums, and mandolin. As a gardener, she is a lover of all healthy green plants and soil. She teaches and practices yoga, performs music, gardens, and spends time having fun and living life with her life love, teacher, friend, and husband Charlie, and their three cats, Tabetha, Chris, and Nux, in Wappingers Falls, NY.
